October 21st, 2008: Software Design turned 20.
On the occasion of such an important anniversary, a meeting on the subject “Software Design: a participated company?” took place on Sunday, October 19th.
A large number of staff members attended the meeting, held at Hotel Taverna Capozzi (Laceno, nearby Avellino). During the morning session, SD partners suggested some hints to reflect about, mainly on the subject of Participation considered from different points of view.
In this context, Raffaele Annunziata produced the draft of the company Ethical Code, which contains the whole body of ethical values shared by all the company members.
During the afternoon session, some study issues were suggested, which could be the subjects of proper meetings in the near future: Solidarity Fund, Aggregation Initiatives, Visual Factory and ecologic initiatives, Workers Representation, Ethical Code, Evaluation System.
In the suggestive atmosphere of S.Chiara Cloister in Naples, on Monday October 20th company managers attended a meeting on the subject “Which future after 20 years?”, to conclude the events in celebration of this twentieth anniversary. The participants reflected upon the way covered so far and particularly worked to outline the possible future scenarios.
