Persons with reduced mobility (PRM)
 

Naples Airport guarantees all passengers the same quality of service and is particularly attentive to the needs of PRM (Persons with reduced mobility).
 
Reference regulations:

As of 26 July, pursuant to new European regulations (EU Regulation 1107/2006), AIRPORT MANAGEMENT COMPANIES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING GROUND ASSISTANCE TO PASSENGERS WITH REDUCED MOBILITY (PRM).
In order to ensure receiving services suited to their own needs and in the least possible amount of time, passengers must request assistance when booking their flights and within 48 hours prior to flight departure.
 
The air carrier is responsible for forwarding the request to the airport.

Entry to the airport is facilitated by:
  • Sidewalks equipped with access ramps
  • Stoplights with audible signals for the visually impaired
  • 29 dedicated parking spaces
Furthermore, the Sala Amica a recently refurbished, waiting room for those in need of special assistance is located on the ground floor of Terminal 1.

How to request assistance

Assistance may be requested from a call system located at the Terminal entrances.
Upon arrival at the airport, go to one of the following contact points to notify the airport of your arrival and to receive assistance:
 
  • Call for assistance terminals located at all Terminal entrances and the Sala Amica
  • Call for assistance terminals located at all cark parks except the P3 car park
  • The Customer Service counter located in the Arrivals Area
  • The Sala Amica – in the Departures Area

Specialised personnel will assist PRM passengers in all procedures from check-in until the boarding the aircraft.

"Sala Amica"
 

       
The Sala Amica is a comfortable waiting area for PRMs and/or passengers requiring special assistance.
The entrance to the Sala Amica is equipped with a ramp and is located before the Terminal entrance. Two, short-term, dedicated parking spaces, located in front of the Sala Amica, are available for those accompanying RM passengers.

The Sala Amica, conveniently located in the immediate vicinity of the new check-in area, is equipped with:
  • A waiting room with sofas and tables
  • A television and flight information display unit and various other amenities
  • A baby care area with a diaper changing mat and a chair
  • Two toilet facilities for the disabled
Sala Amica assistance and service can be requested upon arrival at the airport by using one of the call points located outside Terminal 1. Personnel of GH Napoli, the company charged with providing assistance, guarantee prompt service in full compliance with rigorous quality standards.
